Lead Hand /Lead Carpenter

North Elm Construction is looking for a full-time Lead Hand / Lead Carpenter for multiple Edmonton area based construction projects. As Lead Hand / Lead Carpenter, you will be an integral part of our growing team and contribute to the successful build and delivery of our client projects.

Being an experienced tradesperson and detailed individual, you have strong carpentry and finishing skills to both build and complete projects. You’re a critical thinker that enjoys problem solving and works well being part of the team. Dedicated to commercial construction, you’re interested in furthering your career in a progressive and growing company.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Various general carpentry work: framing, finishing, cabinet & door installation, caulking, trim work, etc.
  • Following, building, and completing projects as per provided plans
  • General problem solving and critical thinking
  • Team player, working, and communicating well with others

Role Requirements:

  • Fit with our Culture & Team
  • 5+ years of relevant Experience with a Commercial Contractor
  • Journeyman Carpenter or equivalent years of experience
  • Ability to Read Plans
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Self-Sufficient and Driven Multi-Tasker
  • Tech Savvy
  • Valid Drivers Licence & reliable transportation
  • Interested in Building a Career in a Growing Company
